Elephant babies are SO cute!  We spotted these on our safari ride and I couldn't resist snapping a picture.  Did you know that an elephant's gestation period is 22 months?  I would NOT want to be pregnant for that long!

50's Prime Time Cafe

Location: Disney's Hollywood Studios

Time: Lunchtime!

BEST.  RESTAURANT. EVER.  Seriously this place has awesome food.  My favorite is the meatloaf, but the fried chicken is amazing too.  Themed after a 1950's sitcom home, your meal is prepared by "Mom" and you are the "cousins" that came to visit.  If you want an alcoholic beverage it will be prepared by "Dad" from his liquor cabinet.  Don't get caught with your elbows on the table or using bad manners or you will pay with public humiliation.  Also, there is a t.v. at almost every table.  Great food and great theming. 

Dapper Dans

Location: Magic Kingdom

Time: Mid-day

The "Dapper Dans" is an awesome Barbershop Quartet in the Magic Kingdom.  While you may see them performing up and down Main Street USA, they are more often than not found hanging around the Harmony Barber Shop next to the Emporium.  On this day they made a special appearance to sing "Happy Birthday" to a young guest that was also getting a hair cut. 

Cinderella Castle

Location: Magic Kingdom

Time: Late Evening

This is my favorite thing to take pictures of at Walt Disney World.  I have a lot of great pictures of the castle and will try to space them out :)  This particular picture was taken after the Wishes fireworks show.  There are over 200,000 LED lights adorning the castle.

World of Disney

Location: Downtown Disney

Time: Early Evening

This store is located in the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney.  The store contains virtually any Disney item you could desire to purchase.  Beware of Stitch the prankster.  He tends to spit on guests as they walk by.

Rock 'n Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith

Location: Disney's Hollywood Studios

Time: Evening

This is one of our favorite rides at the Studios.  The ride is based on a high-speed limo ride to an Aerosmith concert.  This is the only ride at Walt Disney World that contains inversions.  There are a total of three in the ride.   Another exciting factor is the beginning of the ride in which you accelerate from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.  This is the second fastest ride at Walt Disney World.  Can you guess which one is faster?  The ride opened in 1999 and is located at the end of Sunset Blvd. near the Tower of Terror and Fantasmic.  

Wishes

Location: Magic Kingdom

Time: Evening

Happy New Year!  Wishes is the current fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom.  The show debuted in 2003 and has been a hit amongst guests ever since.  "Wishes" replaced the 32-year-old "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks show.
