The American Idol Experience (Coming Soon!)

This new attraction is under construction in the old ABC theatre.  Guests will be chosen to participate in an American Idol type experience similar to the TV show.  This attraction sounds like it has the same concept as the old Who Wants to be a Millionaire attraction in that guests can feel like they are really a part of the TV show.

Asian Temple

This mock temple located in the Asia section is across the water from Expedition Everest.  If you look closely you will notice that the temple mirrors the shape of the mountain.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority

This ride was formerly known as the WEDway People Mover.  WED stands for Walter Elias Disney.

Dumbo Topiary

This Dumbo Topiary is located next to the Dumbo ride in Fantasyland.  I just think he is really really cute!

Main Street Confectionary

This giant Mickey is made from miniature Mickey shaped white chocolate pretzels...YUM!

Foreign Coca-Cola Sign

This sign is in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom near Expedition Everest.  I'm not sure what language these characters represent...do you know?

Pixar Place

Pixar Place is the newest addition to this park and houses the newest ride---Toy Story Mania.  This ride replaced the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" attraction (which was one of my favorites).  These monkeys (large versions of the "Barrel of Monkeys") hang between the buildings.

Mickey Light Effect

We saw this near the Great Movie Ride.  I thought it was a neat effect.

Yak & Yeti Restaurant

This is the newest table service restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  It is located near Expedition Everest and has amazing theming.  I'm not sure how the food tastes, but it looks cool.

Mad Tea Party

Toy Story Mania

I saw this sign on a door while waiting in line for the new Toy Story Mania ride at the Studios.  Disney is SO into the details.  This is their way of saying that this door is for cast members (employees) only.  How cute!

Hippy Dippy Pool

This pool is located in the 60's section of the resort and is closest to the main lobby.  The pool is heated so theoretically you can swim year-round.  It is shaped like a huge flower.

Expedition Everest

This is at the top of the ride right before you go backwards back into the mountain.  It looks like the Yeti has done some damage to the train tracks.

Vintage T-Shirts

I found these while exploring the Mickey's Philharmagic gift shop.  I resisted the urge to buy the one from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride which is now extinct.

Streetmosphere

All around Hollywood Studios you will find character actors creating what is known as "streetmosphere."  These ladies are recreating old-time Hollywood...in a cheesy way.

Personalized Mickey Ears at the Chapeau Hat Shoppe

This is where the magic happens!  Located on Main Street USA, this little hat shop is THE place to get your very own pair of personalized mouse ears.  New technology makes it possible for endless combinations to personalize to your exact specifications.

Disney Vacation Club Advertisement

This ride is located in Tomorrowland.  This used to be my favorite ride when I was a kid.  My younger brother and I used to fight over who would get to sit in the front.  I still scream every time I ride it.
